I am having a tub only installed and would like to add a small hand held shower (Delta Faucet Trinsic Single Spray 55085). Will this work? If not, what will, and how do I buy a tub faucet without a shower? It's very frustrating!
Hi JjjjM, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27867. This is designed as a shower-only trim. We don't recommend connecting a tub spout to one of the shower outlets. The flow will be reduced compared to a tub valve. I recommend a tub and shower trim like T17067 with a diverter tub spout such as RP75435. The bottom tub outlet of the valve would be connected down to the tub spout and the shower outlet connected to a wall elbow for the hand shower. Please reach out with any additional questions! I bought this trim kit in Champaign Bronze and there is no set screws or button covers in the package. I checked the website and see those are purchased separately but there is no Champaign Bronze option! $500 for a trim kit and you can’t include those???
