How does the shade come off to change the light bulbs? Does the whole bottom piece come out or just the glass? Thank you!
The bottom piece has screws, so you can loosen them to remove the diffuser to replace the bulbs.
Is this bright enough for a kitchen? In the customer photos, it appears as if it only shines straight down like a spotlight.
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. This fixture can be used to light a smaller space as the main lighting source however for a kitchen I would suggest also using additional lighting to insure you have enough lighting. If you have a bar, pendant lights would be a welcome addition for task lighting.
Would LED bulbs be compatible with this?
Hello, This light requires type A light bulbs and is compatible with LED light bulbs. We recommend using 60W equivalent bulbs. Best, Customer Service

The glass cover shattered and I would like to replace it.
HD has always been great so I would ask them if possible to get a replacement. Expect you will have to get whole new fixture.

Hello, unfortunately this is a discontinued fixture and we no longer carry replacement parts, so we would not be able to supply retailers with them for you to purchase or receive.
Why is it that these are supposed to be the exact same light, except different shade colors, but it says the complete chrome one only takes one bulb??
The description is inaccurate. I bought the one that is completely chrome. It takes two 60w bulbs just like the other finishes.
This is miss information, all of the lights in this series 3602-14 have two sockets
