Saved me hundreds on tile demo
I had a rotary hammer already and had been wanting to remove tile in my house. I bought this and was incredibly surprised at how well this works. I was able to use it at about a 30 degree angle and go below the tile and remove solid pieces and ones that were tougher I was me to break apart with this. Contractors wanted $500 to do what this too about 10 minutes on the tile. I was also able to use this to remove all of the mortar and smooth the concrete so it was ready for the tile installer.

This bit having a single cutter head has gone through rebar imbedded concrete with a minimal effort to chip out the hole. I have used this bit on both concrete and granite stone. There has been significant wear to the leading edge of the bit, but to be expected in the hard granite.

    Chisel was straight forward and easy to install in my hammer drill. I like that the chisel is angled so that it lays closer to the surface that I am working on. I used this chisel to remove concrete slag leftover from a masonry job years ago. This slag had been bugging me for years but. I didn't want to use a straight chisel and chance damaging the concrete. I placed this angled flat chisel on the edge and it took off the slag without damaging the concrete surface. I can see where this chisel wound be invaluable for a tile removal job or something that requires to lift or separate material. I would recommend this chisel for anyone who has a SDS-Plus roto hammer/ hammer drill.

    Although bought for a small project, I hardly recommend it. it has performed great and to my expectations. I want to keep breaking concrete with it lol. I chips uniform and consistent. I used it in conjunction with a Ryobi rotary hammer and again, it was a small project but they both performed unarguably. I am very very satisfied.

    Great chisel! I used this chisel to knock down a concrete crack that was a trip hazard. The chisel had very little "walk" and held its path better than other chisels, probably due to the dual teeth. The chise broke down the rock that was in the concrete like no other chisel I had used in the past. Usually, a chisel will roll over a rock, not this chisel, it broke the rock. Once completed, the chisel still has its edge and is ready for the next task. The chisel also fits perfectly into my SDS Plus type hammer. I would recommend this chisel for working on concrete surfaces or use with tile demo.

    the quality of this chisel is very good. It is made of heavy strong material. The length works out well to keep your impact driver at a good height above the work. The chisel has two rails that help guide the bit and to let debris like tile waste clear the area easily. Works very well on removing tile from floor and walls. Tempted to try it on stucco.

    We waited for the proper job to use the Diablo SDS-Plus Tile Chisel. We used the product in a rotary hammer to remove about 2,000 sq,ft of ceramic tile in an old Bank building. The chisel did remarkably well and held it's edge through most of the project. We were able to dull the chisel when one of our men accidentally dug into the concrete slab. We were still able to finish the project with the same bit. We recommend this product.

    Diablo makes good quality products and this is no exception. Dual side cutting edges make quick work of chipping away concrete. SDS plus makes it sure the bit is securely locked in place and not going to fly off. The bit self sharpens which is a plus. The dual bevel helps deflect the concrete chips away from where you're working. All in all a great bit to add to the collection.
