Questions & Answers
Hello this may be weird but I purchased a full size and you all are saying I can use my queen size mattress on this bed and I didn't have to get the queen size
This bed is designed to accommodate a standard full size mattress measuring 54" Wide x 74" Deep.
What is the tallest Queen mattress that can fit this daybed? 12 inch queen mattress? I hope for the footboards to align with the mattress height, or the mattress to be taller.
Ideal mattress height is up to personal preference. The platform measures 16" tall from the floor while the lowest point of the arms measures 27.5" tall and the highest point of the arms measures 31.1" tall. A 12" mattress will measure slightly higher than the lowest point of the arms.
can you use a box spring with this bed or matress only
Hi, this bed does not require a box spring. It uses slats.
Can you use a queen size mattress with this? I need a queen size day bed
Yes, this daybed is designed to accommodate a queen size mattress measuring 60" Wide x 80" Deep.
What are the dimensions of the slats?
The slats measure 1.75" wide x 39.25" deep x 0.75" high and are placed 3.5" apart.
Can the legs be removed / can this product be put on bed risers
Bed risers may be used, however, please ensure that bed risers are placed on each leg including the center support legs.
What is the best thickness for a mattress. I am not sure if ten inches will be to high on the sides
The arms of the daybed are roughly 11" high from the platform. Adding sheets and blankets may raise the height of the mattress to match or exceed the arms, though optimal mattress height depends on personal preference.
