It features a ceramic smooth glass surface and four elements with a quick-boil 2,700-W power element for efficiency. Compatible with the most stainless steel and cast-iron cookware. Is there a weight limit capacity for this induction cooktop? How much is it capable of holding without damage?

Do you have to use an Empava wall oven along with the Empava induction cooktop or can you install it above a different brand wall oven?

what's the difference between radiant & induction?
Hi James, Radiant electric cooktops produce radiant heat by passing electricity between heating elements and sending heat waves to cookware. Compatible with aluminum, cast iron, ceramic, copper, earthenware, porcelain, and stainless-steel cookware. Induction cooktops use copper coils to generate an electromagnetic field and heat cookware similar to a microwave. Induction elements are compatible with most stainless steel and cast-iron cookware. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of a pot or pan, it is induction friendly. Please install it by a licensed contractor. I installed this recently and noticed that when on lower power settings it seems to turn off and on.. I was cooking a burger and it would start to sizzle and then stop, and then sizzle again and stop etc.. Is this normal?
