yes, but, I would recommend these when you don't turn off the electricity,Klein Tools 11054EINS
The model # K12065CRSEN Wire Strippers are not insulated
You're probably okay with low voltage stuff but they have no insulated rating and are not intended to be used on live circuits.
No they are not
I own bought and you are correct about the Milwaukee model uses a spring to open. The nice feature about the Klein Tools Klein-Kurve Heavy-Duty Wire Stripper Crimper is the curved handle. They are both great tools from great brands. Ultimately, it’s your choice and you’ll be satisfied with either tool.
Lack of a spring isn't a problem for me. MIght be nicer with one, but I like it without one. It does the job I want it to do.
The Klein Tools model # K12065CRSEN features a crimper for non-insulated connectors, lugs, and terminals instead of a spring return. Please see Klein Tools model # K12035SEN for the version with a spring.
I don't find a spring to matter much at all.
I have several different brands of strippers and some have spring returns and some don't. The ones that don't have a multi-function system. For instance, this pair are strippers out in front and a crimping spot behind the pivot. In order to have a return spring, you need a spot for it and that's not possible with the multi function design of this tool.
I believe it is forged.
IDK or care. Just get them they are awesome.
The box joint is definitely forged and the die-knives are ground.
Yes, the Klein Tools model # K12065CRSEN Heavy-Duty Wire Stripper is forged.
Klein says they are and they are tough.

Says “heavy duty” but don’t say cuts ASCR & screws etc... like other Heavy Duty Klein’s? If your looking to cut hard wire I’d go with the Klein Diagonal Cutting Pliers, Heavy-Duty Journeyman, 9-Inch J2000-59
The Wire Stripper Crimper is not a 2000 series tool and does not say ASR (annealed steel wire) in its packaging, copper, aluminium, and other soft metals only.
Yes, the Klein Tools model # K12065CRSEN Wire Strippers will cut hard wire without a problem.
If you have read the Product Overview for the Klein Tools Klein-Kurve Heavy-Duty Wire Stripper Crimper and are still undecided then contact Klien tools customer service.
I haven't cut anything but copper with these, but with their main purpose being for stripping wire, I would avoid cutting anything that wasn't a soft metal.
