7 cu. ft. Manual Defrost Chest Freezer in White Garage Ready

Damaged before packaged. Came out of a perfect box with dents.

First freezer I bought I got home and it was damaged on the inside ,a crack on the lid, From top to bottom, I took it back.Got another one got home Took it out of the box and the same Identical thing was wrong with the same Identical type of freezer, it was a total failure. This company knew there were problems with these freezers.Apparently they didn't care enough to let customers know about the damaged lids. They will never get my business again.

This little chest freezer is just right for us. It's not heavy so it was easy for me to move to the basement with a dolly. (Make sure you strap it so it doesn't roll down the steps!) Two guys could easily carry it. It quickly got down to temperature and for us and the 5 cu ft size provides all the space we need.

Product is as described. Nice amount of space. We have 2 hogs in there from hunting and still have space. Cannot complain

I purchased this freezer as a supplement to our combination that was frequently too small. This was the perfect size that we needed. The freezer does have a light that goes on when you open the lid and the interior is divided into two areas separated by a wire divider. The smaller areas floor is raised to accommodate the compressor. The wire divider keeps items from falling into the other area. The process to adjust the temperature was a bit cumbersome but I had it done after 3 adjustments and several hours later. You do have to have a thermometer that is not supplied. I also added an combination alarm and visual digital temperature gauge that more expensive units have. I gave this 4 stars because it did not have a thermometer and the cumbersome way you had to determine the operating temperature. I have had the freezer about a month, hopefully this unit will last years. So far very satisfied for the price paid.

Bought the unit from Home Depot. It is sitting in my garage and is working great. We bought it to store some overflow items from our main refrigerator in the kitchen. I found that at setting 5, it starts creating ice on the food items. After scaling back the setting to 4, food items are kept frozen without any ice on them. Haven’t yet defrosted the freezer but looks to be a simple process based on the manual. It’s a good item to buy if you want to store a little more what your main refrigerator can handle.

So far, so good. Seems like a good small freezer. Also has a handy light under the lid to assist in low lit areas. I was worried after reading reviews about being damaged in shipping so I picked it up at the store instead.
