After running and mowing the lawn or cleaning the basket out shutting it off. The mower will not start again. The red battery light flashes several times and then goes out.
The DCMWP233U2 mower not restarting and flashing a red battery light usually means there’s an issue with battery placement, charge level, a tripped safety switch, or debris. Check the safety key, ensure batteries are fully charged and seated properly, and inspect for any clogs or the fold handle safety switch being pushed in. Can I use one battery at a time on my Dewalt self propelled mower.
No, 2 batteries are required to run the mower.
Can I use battery’s with more voltage ?
You would not be able to use a 40v or 60v battery with this mower. You would be able to use a DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery with this mower for higher AH.

Is this mower a front wheel drive
The DCMWP233U2 is not self-propelled. All the wheels move when pushed.
is there a special charger that needs to be used for the 20v 10a batteries, or can any of the 20v chargers be used? If it is a special one, what is the model please?
No, there is not a special charger needed to charger the 10AH battery.
Can I use a smaller ah dewalt battery with the 10ah 20v
You can use a battery with a lower AH that is 20vLithium Ion and branded by DEWALT. You can also use a DEWALT FLEXVOLT battery.
I just purchased this on 8/21/23 and it worked for 10 minutes and then cut out. I charged the batteries again and put them in and it worked for less than a minute and won't turn back on. I did all the trouble shooting that was in the manual and web.
