The description reads "USES (1) 60 Watt Medium base bulb or LED equivalent". A 60 Watt Equivalent LED bulb uses 8.8 watts and is not bright enough for the area it's to be used. Is it safe to use a 100 Watt Equivalent LED bulb that uses 12 watts?
Hi Louise. The recommendation for our Savannah Farmhouse 8 in. Matte Black Indoor Wall Sconce with White Shade is for the equivalent with a medium based bulb. If the actual wattage of the 100 LED equivalent is below the recommendation there should be no issue.
Does this have an on-off switch on it?
No this light fixture does not have an on-off switch on it. I installed a wall light switch to control this light fixture. I used this light fixture as reading lights on each side of the bed. Mounted switches at easy to reach locations from the bed.
