40-Watt Integrated LED Bronze Dusk to Dawn Photocell Sensor frosted lens Security Outdoor Wall Pack Light 5000K

I am converting all of the lights in my barn to these. I set them all on the brightest setting which is accessed under a little panel that removes with a screwdriver. I also use the ingenious little cover that is built in to disable the dusk to dawn feature so they run off the wall switch. These literally install within 5 minutes. With the gasket around the lens and the back fitting tight against the wall, they are bug free and dust free. I feel safer with them than the old incandescent bulbs around the barn because these are less of a fire hazard, and I love them because they put out so much more light.

Don’t be fooled by the small toy-like package (see photo of box). We installed it to replace an old wall lamp twice its size. We had to stop buying the bulbs as they’ve become too expensive. This Feit Electric security light is a real bargain as it’s rated to last 50,000 hours so we don’t expect to buy bulbs every year and at 33 watts, it’s a big savings for us. As seen in the close-up photo there aren’t that many LED bulbs but it is unbelievably bright for a small lamp. Installation is easy as this was just a replacement. We installed it at the Daylight Deluxe 6500K setting by the front door and it lit up the deck and driveway even without the other flood lights at the corner. What I really like about this light is that it can weather high temperatures and all year conditions especially strong winds during snow storms in the mountains.

This is a very bright, very useful industrial-inspired outdoor wall light. The design is similar to larger fixtures seen at businesses and commercial properties. It is small in size, but very, very bright. It has color temperature (kelvin) adjustment through five settings. It is wall mount only, and has a very well-hidden adapter plate which allows for a truly flush-mount. The template is somewhat forgiving, allowing for several different gauge configurations. I would recommend a constant-power outlet for this fixture, as it has an automatic dusk-to-dawn feature. If you do choose to put it on a switched fixture, gone are the days of placing electrical tape over the light sensor. There is a thoughtfully-placed all weather cap to cover the sensor if you wish to disable the DtoD feature. Overall, this is a quality item and should last for many years.

I got this dusk to dawn LED light fixture to illuminate the door to my shed and it turned out great. I painted the bronze cast aluminum cover plate to go with my gray and white trimmed shed. A can of good quality spray paint did the trick and then I installed the fixture myself. To all DIYers please remember to turn OFF the power to your unit prior to wiring this light. This is an awesome looking LED fixture that is surprisingly bright at night. The pics should illustrate this well. Thanks.

I found installation to be extremely easy and very straightforward. To install you do have to remove both the lense cover and reflector in order to install. Back of unit has a foam gasket and in my case sealed to my junction box just fine. Pay special attention that the gasket that seals the front glass is seated properly before you reinstall the glass. In my case, it had come loose and I hadn't noticed until I had already screwed it on. Quick unscrewed it and reinstalled.

This mini wall pack (manufactured by FEIT Electric) looks well engineered. I specifically liked the internal mirror that makes the light look brighter than the 150-watt equivalent incandescent bulb it is compared to. (Actual rating is 3,000 lumens.) I also like that the light “temperature” can be changed from 3000K “soft white” up to a 65000K “Daylight Deluxe.” Unfortunately, it is not dimmable. The dusk-to-dawn feature can be disabled by putting a rubber cap over the sensor on top of the fixture. It comes with all the pieces, and do-it-yourself installation is Home-Depot easy.

WOW! This exterior wall light is super bright! I mean, blinding bright! I mounted it on the side of my house and it lights up a good 50 ft stretch or so. Very stylish and modern looking for an outdoor light. Love the LED tech - which will be easy on the electric bill. The outer shell is plastic, but I thought it was metal at first. Good build quality and weight. The photo sensor works great and is very convenient - (The light will not come on/activate until after dusk even if you flip on the power switch prior to sunset, however it includes an optional little "cap" that you can use to cover the photo sensor if you want to bypass it). To install the fixture, you must remove the main plastic light cover which is held on by four Phillips screws. Instructions included (of course) and installation is not difficult if you're familiar with standard wiring - (White wire, black wire, and a green/yellow ground). The install took me about 10 minutes max. Includes a mount plate if needed as well as wire nuts. Super happy with this product! No complaints.

I got this LED wall pack security light to go at the loading dock entrance of my work place to replace a "porch light" that had been there. Because I was replacing an existing light fixture, installation was very simple as the wiring was already there. This light is so much brighter than the old light fixture and provides more coverage than the old porch light we had.

This security light is made out of die cast aluminum. It has the dusk to dawn function. It is very easy to install and is very bright. It comes with a cover if you do not want to use the dusk to dawn feature and is hardwired. It has a reflector inside to make the light brighter and has a daylight color light. It is LED and is equivalent to a 40watt bulb. If it is too hot or too cold outside it will affect the performance of the sensor. But I haven't found any problems with that.

We needed a new outdoor light for our porch and we ended up selecting this FEIT OUTDOOR ELECTRIC 40-WATT LED BRONZE DUSK-TO-DAWN PHOTOCELL SENSOR DAYLIGHT SECURITY LIGHT for our front porch; we chose this FEIT OUTDOOR LED LIGHT, which is available at HOME DEPOT, because it is LED, is aluminum (which material is rust-free), has a beautiful bronze finish, and is very stylish looking, especially if you are looking for a modern look; the light is somewhat subdued, so if you are looking for a very, very bright security light, this most likely would not meet your requirements, however, if you are looking for a very nice porch light, which is bright, but not too bright, this would be the lighting fixture for you; this FEIT OUTDOOR LED LIGHT was easy to install and came both with hardware and installation instructions See your review
