Hi, The maximum planter box depth capable of being held is 8.5in deep (measured back to front). Unfortunately this model will not open wide enough to hold your 10in deep planter box. However, we will keep in mind your box size as we further our product development. Thanks!
It says brackett for window planter box but none of the pictures show it fixed to a window, only to railings. Can it be attached for window use? I’ve attached a picture so you can see where I’d like to put a window box.
Hi, thank you for your question! While this product is made to hold Window Box Planters, it is intended to hold them in places that you could not mount direct to an exterior wall. I.e. Railings Theoretically, this could work in a window. However, you would need to open the window, place the bracket rear-opening (max 6.5in) over the window sill, and tighten down. This would NOT allow the window to fully close as the bracket would be in the sill. We would recommend mounting the Window Box Planter directly to your exterior wall with screws and hardware instead.
