What is the distance in height between the bottom "open shelf" to the bottom of the cabinet. I need a 10" clearance there to put something decorative.

Does this need to be assembled??
Hi, Thanks for your question. Yes, this cabinet need to be assembled, the Estimated Assembly Time is 20mins.
Are the holes to mount drilled into the solid wood part of the back or simply the cardboard backing? We want to mount with toggle bolts so it won’t crash.
The solid wood part should be on the front, facing the user, rather than the back. Ensure that when mounting with the wall mount kit (we provide), the screws are securely fastened into the solid wood to provide stable support and prevent the cabinet from falling.
Do I need to assambly?

Can this be painted?
Thank you for your interest in our product. Regrettable, we do not recommend painting this cabinet as the paint from different brand may contain different material and it will ruin the finish of the cabinet if the new paint does not match well with ours.
