Hello, The AC Infinity Cloudline S6 is not officially rated or recommended for sub-freezing outdoor operation. Key Technical Limitations: • IP44 Rating: The unit is rated IP44, which means it resists dust and splashes of water, not sub-freezing temperatures, deep cold-soaking, or harsh outdoor weather exposure. • Operating Temperature Limits: Similar AC Infinity climate and fan systems are engineered for an operating range of 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C). Exposing the motor, lubricants in the dual ball bearings, and electronics/speed controller below 32°F can cause mechanical stiffness, bearing lubricant failure, or electronic component malfunction. • Condensation Risk: Even without direct snow or ice, cold outdoor air mixed with warmer indoor exhaust air creates heavy internal condensation. When temperatures drop below freezing, that moisture freezes inside the housing or motor, leading to ice jams or electrical shorts.
What size duct- hose is required for this unit?
