Questions & Answers
Does this scale have an auto-off feature? If so, how long is the period of time before it automatically shuts off?
Hi Lindsay, The scale has a 1-5 MINUTE AUTO-OFF FEATURE: the scale will automatically power off after 1 minute (backlight on the 30s + backlight off 30s) of inactivity. This setting can be increased to 5 minutes (Backlight on 30s + Backlight off 270s) by pressing and holding the “Unit” button for 3 seconds, until the number *—5" flashes on the LCD. To reset the auto-off period to 1 minute, press and hold the “Unit” button again for 3 seconds, until the number -—1" flashes on the LCD. The scale will also reset to its default 1-minute auto power off setting after it turns off.” Hope this info helps, thanks!
Can I purchase a small digital scale in store?
I doubt it the selection at the home depot's across America that I've been to seem to not give a crap about people that want one.
Hello, Ozeri is normally an online exclusive brand. Sometimes we will work with a brand to bring our items to storefronts, but it is usually for limited times. If shipping to a home address is not feasible, many of our retail partners will allow you to ship an online order to one of their locations for pick-up. Thank you for your question.
How long will the lithium batteries last? What is the cost of replacement batteries?
Hi Erma, the batteries will last depending upon the amount of use and should last quite a long period of time. The batteries may be found at your local drug or convenience store or online as well. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
The cost of replacement batteries is based on supply and demand. How long they will last depends on how long you use it. You're welcome.
They lasted me about 5 months with very minimum usage, maybe 1-2 times per month. Batteries are under $10 to replace.
