Thank you for reaching out with your question! The 5 Gallon Seat Top Beverage Jug is manufactured using materials that are intended for food and beverage contact. The liner is designed to safely hold drinking water and beverages when used as intended.
Hi Nata, the 5-gallon seat top is best used on some sort of elevated stand or table for easiest use. You can allow the push button spigot to hang over the edge without risk of the jug falling. Hope this helps. Igloo Customer Service Team.
Hi Ronnie, well that depends on how fast you plan to drink the brew. On average you can expect a beer to go flat in 20-30 minutes. Hope this helps. Igloo Customer Service Team.
Hi Terri, replacing the drain spout on your Igloo 5-gallon cooler is a simple process that can be completed in just a few minutes. To begin, ensure the cooler is completely empty. From inside the cooler, locate the retaining nut that secures the spigot in place and carefully unscrew it, using pliers if necessary. Once the nut is removed, gently pull the old spigot out from the exterior. Before installing the new spigot, take a moment to clean the opening and check that the gasket area is free of debris. Insert the new spigot from the outside, making sure the gasket sits properly against the cooler wall to create a secure seal. Then, from the inside, thread the retaining nut back on and tighten it by hand until snug—being careful not to overtighten, as this could affect the seal. Finally, add a small amount of water to the cooler to test for leaks and ensure everything is properly installed. If you notice any dripping, a slight adjustment to the nut or gasket positioning should resolve the issue. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Igloo Customer Service Team.
