Questions & Answers
Some reviewers are saying this isn't true to width size. What size should I order for a 32inch width window?
Dear Valerie. If you purchase the 32” at Homedepot.com, the actual width is 31 7/8" to allow for inside mounting. Therefore, if your window width is 32", you should order this size.
What is the width of the roller and how does the bracket fit adding to the width?
Dear Buddy. The actual product width is 37 1/4". The fabric width is 37".
Can these be exterior mounted? And if so, could a 35" width be right for a 35" W window? Also, is this a good sun heat blocker?
Dear Maurice. For outside mounting, I believe you would need to purchase the 37" width size.Unfortunately the 39" width is not available, because that would be best to cover a 35" width window for outside mounting. This is light filtering product and we were not require to test the percentage of heat insulation, but Blackout fabrics are better if heat insulation is your priority.
My window opening is 46.5 inches. What size should I order
Dear Robin. Only a 46" and 47" is avaialble at Home Depot. If you order the 46", you will have a 0.25" gap on each side .
Can this be ordered in 70”?
Dear Betty. Unfortunately, it is not availabe in this size currently.
Can the width be cut to size?
Dear Deedee. Yes, this is possible, but we will have to do it for you. What width size do you require?
Does these shades come with a way to raise and lower the blinds using a pulley system and not using your hand on the actual blind?
Hi Elisabeth, currently we have only hand operated models of this blind. We also advise using the handle provided and try pulling down and lifting up the shade evenly from the middle of the blind for best long-term results.
Can these shades be top mounted? Thanks.
Hi Lisa, if you refer to the PDF manual which is also available under “Additional Resources” on this THD product page, https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/9a/9afb9790-20e0-4059-801b-c8fdfce163f8.pdf you will see Inside, Outside and Ceiling Mounting are all available with this product.
