What kind of wood is this made of? The description mentions "hardwood" more than once but never specifies, and many bed frames at and around this price are pine, which is a softwood, not a hardwood.
Hello, AFI manufactures our products using a variety of eco-friendly, plantation-grown hardwood, such as mahogany, hevia, white birch, and Italian poplar. The Tahoe is manufactured primarily using hevia.
