Questions & Answers
What is the weight capacity per bed? It just states 600 lbs overall.
Hello, apologies for the confusion. The weight capacity for the Twin Platform bed is 600 lbs. The weigh capacity for the trundle is 400lbs. Hopefully this helps!
Hi, an 8" mattress is pretty tight on the trundle, What is the best way to raise the platform bed by about 3/4 inch?
Hello Simon, we recommend buying bed risers if you need additional platform height. Hopefully this helps!
Hello does this bed require box spring?
Hello, a box spring is not required for this bed. Hopefully this helps!
What species of wood is this made of?
Hello, the wood is rubberwood and it is a solid wood. Thank you
Does this item have assembly?
Hello Mark, this product does require at-home assembly. It comes with assembly instructions and all tools necessary for assembly. The Home Depot offers assembly services through Pro Referral; check out their page on furniture assembly services for more information: https://www.homedepot.com/services/c/g/fce98778c?vfrom=search-results&hp=
what mattress height should be used on the lower bed?
Hello Fernanda, for the trundle below the platform, we recommend a mattress thickness of 8" or less to ensure smooth sliding while the sheets are on. A 9" mattress would be a tight squeeze in the trundle, and anything greater than that would not fit back under the main bed. For the platform bed on top, we recommend a mattress of 10" or thicker to cover the gap in the headboard.
