- HOW TO ORDER: Each cellular shade is produced at the exact size ordered. For inside mount, it is important you order the shade width 1/4" - 3/8" smaller than the actual window width. For outside mount, we recommend ordering additional width to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window. Please refer to How to Measure Your Windows and How to Choose Your Shades illustration.

I need to remove a BlindsAvenue blind to work on a window I’m not sure how to and don’t want to break it . Can’t figure it out
To uninstall the headrail, please note that the installation brackets have a spring mechanism. You will gently push the headrail back towards the wall to compress the springs, then roll the head rail down and outward. This will easily disengage the headrail from the bracket. Is the Anthracite color a true deep black? Hard to tell from picture on screen what the true color is. Also why is this color half the price of the white shades?
Hi Jane, The Anthracite color is a slightly lighter black. It's more of a very dark gray and not a true black.
Can these shades be used inside a screened porch
The shades can be mounted on a secure surface that allows the mounting screws and brackets. We can also provide additional hardware to secure the bottom rail. When you place your order, you can send an email to info@blindsavenue.com with your order number and request hold-down brackets.

Hello, the rails operate on a cordless lift system which allows you to pull the shade to the desired height. You can easily raise or lower the shade to position, no magnets needed.
