On page 8, it says to connect each black wire from the wall control to a black wire from the switch box. This seems wrong; one must connect to the power coming in from the house, and the other must connect to the fan. Which wire goes where?

How do you do the wiring if you?re using the 3-speed wall switch? The manual only shows the wiring if you?re using a single switch on page 6.

Hello John, this fan is specifically designed to be installed with a downrod. It can not be flush-mounted. This fan measures 10.08" from the ceiling to the bottom of the lights with the 2" downrod installed. Is the remote really a remote or is it a switch that the power runs through?
