Questions & Answers
Does it come with everything needed for instalation (nails, etc.)? If not, what do I need to get?
These shutters do not come with all of the necessary installation hardware, as the exact requirements will vary from project to project. Generally speaking we would recommend installing these on fixed mount installation brackets, or by face mounting directly through the shutter.
Can you guarantee that the color will not run or become chalky?
With proper installation and placement, TrueFit PVC shutters are designed to resist fading and withstand the elements. Their high-quality material and UV-resistant paint finish help protect the color and minimize the chance of chalking. While we can't guarantee the color will remain completely unchanged, following the recommended installation and placement guidelines will help maintain their appearance over time. For added peace of mind, we recommend reviewing our warranty information, which may fully or partially cover replacement if any issues occur.
how do you mount these shutters
These shutters are designed for fixed mounting and come with a Z-bar for installation. The included installation guide provides detailed instructions: [https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/3b/3bbb985d-e435-47ad-bad2-f2f771839476.pdf](https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/3b/3bbb985d-e435-47ad-bad2-f2f771839476.pdf)
Are the unfinished ones paintable?
Yes, unfinished shutters are typically paintable. This allows you to match them to your home's exterior color scheme. However, it's always best to check the manufacturer's instructions for the specific product you are interested in to confirm compatibility with paint and recommended application methods.
