Questions & Answers
Is the hook spring-loaded
The PACKOUT Large S-Hook simply locks into the PACKOUT plate and stays rigid, with no spring action.
Will this work for the Milwaukee sawzall (2620 I think)?
The PACKOUT™ Small Straight Utility Hook (48-22-8334) is designed for lightweight power tools and accessories with a 15 lb weight capacity and a 4-inch length. While it can hold smaller tools, an M18 SAWZALL® (including older models like 2620) is relatively long and heavy (around 7–8 lbs without battery, plus the battery weight), which makes it a tight and less secure fit on this small hook. For a SAWZALL, we recommend using a larger hook for better support, such as: PACKOUT™ 9" Straight Hook (48-22-8330) — 25 lb capacity, optimized for power tools and outdoor equipment.
Can these be mounted upside down? I wan to add to my large rolling packout chest which I use to keep nail guns in, so I can wrap an air hose on the cover.
Hello- The PACKOUT shop storage accessories will only lock into the wall mounting plates.
