Questions & Answers
My patio gets direct sunlight all day and rains frequently. Why do they recommend to not have direct sunlight when the material is supposed to be best for direct sunlight. Also, does it get hot from the sunlight?
While this area rug is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, we recommend placing it in a covered outdoor area. It is not waterproof or UV resistant, so prolonged exposure to rain or direct sunlight may cause fading or damage over time. For best results, use it on a covered patio, porch, or similar space where it’s protected from the elements.

Does rug dry quickly after heavy rain? Will it damage deck boards?
We do recommend using a rug pad with this rug to avoid any damages to the surface underneath. As it is water resistant, we also recommend placing it somewhere it can be partially covered to cut down drying time.
Is this rug rolled or folded when it’s shipped?
Hi Book. Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot. This rug normally ships rolled up. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC

Hello, This rug is fade resistant but we do not recommend leaving the rug in direct sunlight for long periods of time
