How is the hose size measured, ID or OD?
Hello Robm, Thanks for reaching out. Our 2-1/2" measurement of the hoses are at the corrugated part of the hose. The hard plastic end of the hose where the accessories attaches to has an outside diameter of 2-1/4". While our 2-1/2" accessories like this LA2501 has an outside diameter of 2-1/2" and an inside diameter of 2-1/4". I have a Rigid Model# WD40700. It has a 1 3/4" hose. I am looking for a brush attachment that will fit my model number. Thank You for any help that someone can offer.
I bought the VT1701 dusting brush which is 1 7/8 and it works great on the 1 3/4 hose.
Bought a new one 16gal it's parts don't fit, the plastic is really flimsy?

WILL THIS BRUSH FITS to 9 GALLON MODEL WD09700?
it fits a 1.7/8 hose if that's what you have it probably will fit.
Just check the specifications online or measure the diameter of the hose. It is either 1-7/8 or 2-1/4 I believe. This one 1-7/8 but you can buy adapters also at hd.
Not sure. It fit the black hose that came with my smaller shop vac.
