Can i use on pre painted deck
You can if the existing paint is clean, dry and is adhered well to the surface.
We have Safe-T-Deck already on deck. Is there any extra reinforcement we can put on top of it, so it withstands the brutal winters and shoveling in MN?Yes we use a plastic shovel. This will be our 3rd time having to repaint it in 5 yrs.

After applying the first coat to a bare wood deck (freshly pressure washed), how soon can I walk on it?
Allow 24 hours after application before walking on it.
What is the recommende drying time?
Allow 24 hours between coats and foot traffic and allow 7 days before placing patio furniture on it.

Yes, Safe-T-Deck is soap and water clean up.
What prep is needed for 2x6 weathered wood
Just make sure it is clean and dry and apply one coat of Ames Super Primer prior to applying the Safe-T-Deck.
How does the coating stand up to snow shovering for a deck?
Safe-T-Deck will withstand snow shoveling, however, we do recommend a plastic bladed shovel.
Does Super Primer need to be stirred before application?
Super primer is ready to use once you receive it. There is no need to stir it.
