Is the gold logo able to be removed? I'd like to put something else there and not sure if it would leave a small hole in the mailbox, or if it is adhered with some type of glue? Thanks!

Is it rain proof?
Thank you for your interest in our products. We cannot guarantee that a wall mount mailbox will prevent rain infiltration in all situations and mounting applications. Although designed to prevent the mail from getting wet, we do recommend mounting the mailboxes under an eave.
Where is the mailbox made?
I'm answering my own question now that I have the mailbox in hand. The box says "Assembled in USA". It doesn't say where the materials were sourced.

Can the emblem be removed?
Yes. It comes unattached with the mailbox but there are holes in the box where the emblem snaps in.

There are no mailbox hooks correct? Are there openings in the bottom of the mailbox to slide in newspaper holders/scrolls? If yes, I could remove the ones from my existing mailbox and use them on this new mailbox.

I want to attach this to a 4x4 wooden post to hold brochures. Questions: (1) are there accessible holes for screwing the lower half to a wall, and if so where/how? (2) are spacers needed to bring it out from the wall so the lid opens freely? (3) can the emblem be removed?
Yes, can be mounted to 4x4 post. Have to mount screws on post with template provided. Mail box is then ready to be attached to post. Line up holes and push down. Make sure screws are in post at right depths. No, lid is made to be flush mounted

I don't think emblem can be removed but its possible to adjust screws.
