Why isn't this sexy thing compatible with G mailboxes? The G posts are ulgy.

USPS regulations are 41" minimum from the ground. This says it is 39". Can we use this in the US?

Per USPS guidelines, the bottom of the mailbox must be between 41” and 45” above the road surface. Because of this, whether the post is compliant depends on the specific mailbox being installed. The key factor is how the mailbox sits on the mounting surface—particularly the distance from the mounting point to the bottom of the mailbox. To confirm compliance, we recommend: • Identifying the mailbox model being used • Determining the distance from the mounting holes to the bottom of the mailbox • Adding that dimension to the post’s mounting height The final result should fall within the 41”–45” requirement.

I can remove mine. I'm just trying to figure out if a different 4x4 cap will fit or if I need to go with a 5x5...but it comes off. I added 2 screws because it comes off fairly easy
