Will this work in a concrete (sidewalk) area?
Thank you for your interest in our products. No, use of concrete is recommended when installing the mailbox- post assembly in an area with loose soil.
The post will not go through concrete. If you make a hole and put the post in then fill around it with like quikrete it should be fine
DOES THE POST ONLY GO DOWN 10 INCHES WILL IT BE OK TO USE CONCRETE IN A 100 INCH HOLE

Thank you for your interest in our products. Per instructions dig a hole measuring 12'' deep and 7'' in diameter place the mailbox post assembly in the hole. Replace and pack down the dirt around the post making sure that the assembly remains level. note: use of concrete is recommended when installing the mailbox post assembly in an area with loose soil.
