The M-D Vinyl U-Shape CINCH Slide-On Under Door Seal features vinyl fins for protection from drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Save on energy by sealing the bottom of the door and keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. CINCH products are easy to install since they do not require hardware and simply slide on to the door. A compression fit secures the Under Door Seal to the bottom of the door. Before installation, cut to desired length using a hacksaw.

It can work with carpet as long as the carpet does not interfere with the door closing or drag excessively on the seal. This style of seal is designed to adjust and seal gaps from approximately 3/8 in. to 3/4 in. between the bottom of the door and the floor or threshold. If the carpet is very thick or high pile, the seal may rub against it and prevent the door from opening and closing smoothly.
