We will be repainting exterior wood columns that had Sikaflex All Purpose Non-Sag Construction Polyurethane Sealant applied to joint gaps in the columns a week ago. What is the best way to prime/paint over the sealant?

As long as the polyurethane sealant is paintable and compatible with a water-based coating, I can suggest checking out our Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer No. 436, and then you can apply the Dynasty Exterior coating you have selected. Before applying our primer, please be sure to lightly sand the surface and then clean it with a damp rag to remove sanding dust. Once clean and dry, prime your surface, allow it to dry, and finally apply our Dynasty coating. Good luck with your project! -Angie
Do I need to prime my aluminum siding prior to using this? It’s never been painted.

I used my hvlp sprayer to spray your Dynasty exterior semi-gloss paint on an exterior steel security door, and the finish has no gloss at all. What kind of clear coat can I use to cover it with?

Is Dynasty exterior paint good for use on a metal insulated garage door? Door is textured w/factory powder coat finish that has faded in Texas west-facing sun exposure. Hoping scuffing 2car garage door is not required. Any prep coat to promote adhesion?
