I’ve been using this Milwaukee 5-3/8" Metal Cutting Blade on my M12 circular saw, and it’s a total game-changer. If you’re still using those old-school abrasive wheels that throw sparks everywhere and wear down in five minutes, you need to switch. The first thing I noticed is how incredibly clean the cuts are. I’ve been running it through EMT conduit, strut, and even some stainless, and it leaves a burr-free edge that’s actually cool to the touch. You don't have to spend forever filing down the ends before you can use them. The thin kerf makes a huge difference, especially on the M12 platform. Since it's a smaller saw, you need all the efficiency you can get, and this blade doesn't bog down the motor at all. I’m getting way more cuts per battery charge than I expected. It’s also surprisingly quiet and doesn't "walk" or vibrate when you start a cut. It’s definitely pricier than a cheap abrasive disc, but it lasts so much longer that it pays for itself pretty quickly. Just make sure you’re using it on the right materials—don't try to force it through super thick plate steel or you'll dull the carbide tips. For electrical and HVAC work, this is the only blade I’m keeping in my bag.

I love these blades! They cut smoothly, stay sharp, and are surprisingly quiet. I grew up in an era when everything made ear bleeding noise and somehow the folks at Milwaukee found a way to make a saw blade that seems to never get dull and is quiet. AMAZING!

must have upgrade for 5-38” circ saw finish work
I’m glad I took the advice of another reviewer on circ saw to upgrade to this blade. It cut great with no bogging or binding plunge cutting floor registers in finished hardwood. Compared to the stock included blade, cuts went from great to amazing. I am running the M12 XC4.0 battery but I hope to buy the high output 5.0 battery soon; I’ll be even more pleased with the performance (although this saw performs so good for my needs, I don’t know if that’s even possible). I bought the framing blade for all other quick cut work too.

I had to install a Plexiglas shield at a service counter which required cutting aluminum trim and Plexiglas panels. I purchased a Milwaukee cordless metal cutting saw to go with this blade and it did the job. The blade works well with the Plexiglas with just a little gumming up from the heat and friction. It handled the aluminum trim pretty easily and was a lot easier cutting than with a hacksaw. This is a good quality blade.

I received the MILWAUKEE 6-1/2 IN. X 48 CARBIDE TEETH METAL CUTTING CIRCULAR SAW BLADE to test for The Home Depot. I used it with my circular saw to cut standing seam roofing for my pergola and it worked great! Ran through the pieces like butter. What I really liked is the packaging. It is perforated for opening so that it can be used for storage as well. Simple but a great idea.

The Milwaukee 7-1/4 inch metal blade is an absolute pleasure to use. I am mending some gutters that have become worn and was using a hack saw to cut the gutters. This metal cutting blade is a godsend. Slices through aluminun gutters like butter! I am using the Milwaukee metal blade in my Ridgid cordless circular saw and the blade leaves a very clean cut. Now I’m only cutting through thin metal right now, and so far I’m extremely pleased with the cut quality of the blade. This blade is rated to slice through angle iron and metal up to half an inch thick. Holy moly, can’t wait to use this blade on my other projects at the farm house! I’ll probably use it cut down some iron rods to shape a barn door stop rod I’ve been meaning to make for ages! I am very pleased with this blade. HIghly recommended.

A hand-tensioned, hardened alloy steel body extends blade life and delivers the highest quality cuts available. Carbide tipped teeth with Alternate Top Bevel grind shear through metal leaving burr-free, cool-to-touch cuts. Designed for use with the M18 Cordless 5-3/8 in. Metal Saw, these blades feature a thin kerf that reduces the amount of drag and resistance while cutting, resulting in more cuts per charge.

The blade is definitely sharp. The first cut was my finger nail as I tried to install the to my cordless circular hand saw. I was able to test it out by cutting a fiberglass to size. The cut was clean thanks to the 50 teeth. There was not too much vibration as I was cutting the fiber glass. I plan on cutting some copper using the blade and I am confident that I will also have a nice clean edge. The blade is strong and should last a myriad projects.
