How easy it is to install?
Hello, our customers rave that our shades are quite easy to install. You install the brackets to a flat and stable surface using the screws included and a screwdriver. Once the brackets are securely installed, you will then install the headrail. Each shade includes the mounting brackets, screws, and instruction pamphlet you need for a secure and easy installation. The instruction pamphlet contains straightforward instructions and helpful illustrations, and of course our customer support team is available if you have any questions.
can I request the strings as close to the edge as possible? The width I have ordering is 34 inches wide.
I'm sorry, but the string position cannot be altered in these shades. The shade modules are positioned to provide the best function and stability during operation and cannot be adjusted.
Does top down go all the way down?
Hello, yes, the shades can be lowered all the way down. The middle rail will rest on top of the fabric stack at the bottom.
are these insulating?
Hello, yes, the honeycomb pockets trap air and help to insulate by slowing temperature transfer and helping maintain room temperature.
Can this be mounted for top down rather than bottom up?
Our cellular shades with cordless operation allow the shade to stop at any length up to 72" tall. They can be positioned like regular top to bottom shades, bottom to top, or a combination.
