These lights are well built from quality materials and are ETL approved. Easy to install with a staple gun for permanent applications. These are not area lighting but a nice low level for mood lighting. I only installed one set but they include sockets to connect multiple strings for larger areas. Well packed to arrive in excellent condition. I would recommend to a friend.

I'm enjoying these outdoor string lights! They have a little bit of an industrial/modern vibe with the little shades over each light. The lights are bright and provide the perfect amount of light, just enough to light up the space without being too harsh. The shades can be removed if you so choose. They look great loosely swagged over my garden fence but I'm also thinking about mounting them under the top rung of the fence so they don't stick out as much. They have an outlet at the end so you can attach multiple strands. With that being said, I think you might need multiple strands of these lights. I just think 10ft it too short for most purposes. These are stylish outdoor lights that give off great light. I recommend them and will be purchasing more to add to my backyard!

Neat little string of lights, barn style outdoor lamp inspiration. Net bad for decorative uses, they do not emit much light, a soft very yellow warm glow. Very light plastic construction and made in china. I have them up outside but to get maximum life out of them I would consider hanging them behind an indoor bar or find another decorative use for them!

Some might don't like it because of cheaper look but I personally like this way because my old one had glass bulb and bulb shattered quite often. By using plastic, it can prevent it from shattered glass. Light is more of yellowish warm white. At the end of the light, there is a plug so that you can extend more lights. 10 lights are little too short so you can add more lights as you wish. Only con is that cord is really short. It is great when you extend but when you install it, you have to use other extension cord to power it up. Overall, it is pretty little light that can go with any settings.

Product is a 10' string light with decorative shades on the light source. Although just plastic, the shades give the product a higher quality feel and add some character to the string lights. Hung easily and the orientation ended up being correct for all the lights with little effort. Product looks great hanging under my deck and provides quite a bit of lighting without being glaring.

I ordered these light to use on my front porch. The lights are lightweight and the bulbs and shades are a plastic type material, which I prefer, since they will be in a covered outdoor area. Although they are light in weight, they do not feel at all cheap or flimsy. The lights are completely assembled, with a male plug at one end to be plugged into the outlet, and a female plug at the other end, so you can string together multiple strands. There are a total of 10 lights per strand, extending a total of 10 ft. In length. Once plugged in, the lights emit a soft white glow, which should look lovely in the evening. I am very pleased with these lights and look forward to hanging them (if it ever cools off and stops raining long enough for me to hang them).

These lights are for my back porch. They work well and put off a good amount of light. I like that they are lightweight and have screw in bulbs for replacment if ever needed. They put off more light than i expected. They also can be strung together with an outlet plug on the end. The only issue i have with these is that there is no lead cord. An extention cord is needed unless you want the lights starting 6 inches from the outlet. Other than that, these are good lights for my needs.

I was pleasantly surprised when I turned these string lights on as the glow from the bulbs is a warm, soft color. They are the right amount of “light” to make the evening special. The string of lights is lightweight, and the bulbs are not glass. I once had a string of lights that I broke 3 glass bulbs while trying to hang the string. The look of these lights in what drew me to this style. They have a modern yet vintage look to them. But, they would work well with a mid-century styled outdoor area. The string is end to end, so you can add as many strings you need with no visible gap between the spacing of the lights.

This review is for the Hampton Bay Plug-In LED String Lights with shades (10ft, 10 Lamps). The string lights are attractive and very lightweight, which makes them very easy to work with. They are all plastic, making them shatterproof as well. I like the fact that the LED bulbs are not permanent, rather they are the screw in type, so down the road if any burn out, they can theoretically be replaced (assuming you can find similar LEDs). Even though the light set comes with detailed assembly instructions, they came completely pre-assembled in the box, packaged very securely. I hung them under my pop-up gazebo. The light output is adequate for a "cozy" feel, but if you really wanted to light up an area very brightly, you'd probably need multiple sets. In my case, I'm ok with one set because I do have other lighting in the area, and I was just looking to illuminate underneath the gazebo. This string does not have an on/off switch, so you need to plug and unplug them every time you want to turn them on and off. Adding a simple switch to the string would make these much more convenient to use. Also, these lights don't come with any clips or loops for hanging them, so you basically need to improvise. In my case, I created some wire "S" clips to attach them to the metal structure of the gazebo. Overall, I'm happy with the product, although with the noted shortcomings.

Practical designs with waterproof safety that's perfect for my boat. It serves as deck lighting and extension cord in one. Love the lightweight too.
