BEHR PREMIUM PLUS Interior/Exterior Hi-Gloss Enamel creates a durable, glass-like finish that wipes clean and resists moisture and mildew. This brilliant sheen creates a bright, polished look so it's great for doors, furniture, windows and trim. BEHR PREMIUM PLUS is a GREENGUARD GOLD Certified product. Use a high-quality 3/8 in. - 3/4 in. nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or airless sprayer 0.015 in. - 0.019 in. spray tip and 60 mesh filter
1 Gal. covers up to 400 sq. ft. depending on application and surface porosity
For best results, to enhance color fidelity, cover stains/oil-based or glossy surfaces or seal highly porous substrates, please use a BEHR Primer such as BEHR kitchen, bath and trim stain-blocking primer and sealer no. 75 to prep prior to painting
Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 50°F-90°F (10°C-32°C)

New paint on a vintage entry door. After removing all the hardware, cleaning the buildup on it, and filling all the accumulated dings and nicks, I trimmed the door to size and fitted it. I primed the door with an oil based product and put two coats of the Behr paint for good weather protection on the edges and front face. I used the same paint in white on the interior. I let it dry for a couple of days and it came out great. I will install the door seals later to prevent peel off.

Just fine, though (1) it was too bright and one-note, so I added a bit of dark blue, and then it was subtle and perfect; and (2) it has taken three weeks to dry fully on old sanded wood (two coats, no primer). Clean-up with soapy water was easy. Glad to have been able to order it.

This is a really really bad paint

This is the worst paint I’ve ever purchased. It’s too thick and chunky, it’s not high gloss, I’ve done 4 coats and it’s still awful. Some spots are glossy with pieces of chunks, some spots look dry and they don’t take any paint. I’ll have to hire a painter to have the entire work redone with a quality paint. It’s really bad now.
