Egan 23.25 in. 3-Light Vanity Light with Frosted Glass Shades and Bathroom Hardware Set, Oil Rubbed Bronze (5-Piece)

This Egan set provides a nice complete package of hardware to decorate a bathroom with a unified look. The style is subtle and clean, and not too ornate, while having a bit of character in the right places. The materials feel substantial and of good quality. I replaced an existing, inexpensive set that felt a bit cheaper, and there is a noticeable difference in the feel of this set, especially with the towel bar and towel ring. Thankfully, the brackets this uses for the bath hardware are standard, so it's really easy to replace existing hardware. They include everything you need for screws, anchors, and brackets, but since I was replacing hardware already in place, I didn't need most of it. Once installed, the towel bar doesn't rattle or spin on me like others have. The toilet paper holder is also solid and doesn't have a bar that ends up coming loose like my last one. The towel ring has plastic ends where it attaches to the mount, and that keeps it very stiff. This could be good for some, as it allows you to position hand towels more away from the wall, while others might want it to hang more loose. Mine won't move unless I push it with my hand. The shades for the light are glass, so they light better and look nicer than plastic ones. Overall, the set does not feel cheap and cost-cutting. However, I did have a few issues with the light in this set. It comes with a circular mounting bracket, and I couldn't use that bracket due to the junction box and screws I had previously. Thankfully, the bracket I already had supported offsetting the mounting screws for this light to allow it to fit the mounting holes. Also, the paint finish on the light is a bit rough in spots, which isn't too noticeable with it mounted, but you can see that it's not all smooth on the bar of the light, and it's rough to the touch in spots. The biggest issue for me, though, is that all the lights are not positioned the same. When mounted to the wall the middle light is out the furthest, the right one is out a bit less, and the left one is less still, so they are not all on the same plane. I can hold a ruler or level on the middle light and it will not touch the others because they aren't inline. This is a minor aesthetic issue, but it is noticeable, nonetheless. Finally, the bulbs included look nice, and they are thin so they fit up in the shades pretty well, but they are very yellow and a bit dim - 420 lumens. I had some other 3000k brighter bulbs that are standard A19 base, and they fit in there fine, and look better to me. Overall the set is a great value. Everything installs easily and looks good once up. However, it looks like they could use a little bit better QC for the vanity light.

Purchased this Egan 23.25 in. 3-Light Vanity Light with Frosted Glass Shades kit as part of powder room remodel. We are going to go with black fixtures to modernize a little bit more including the faucets. This kit even comes the LED light bulbs that look great with the white frosted glass shades. the toilet paper holder along with the towel rack and towel ring are made very well and will look great. I am going to cut the towel rack rod as it is a bit to long for our use. great product that all matched.
