How does one clean these? I love them (have many) but after a season they get stuck and won't open. Thank you, Fiskars, in advance.
I would clean with WD-40
Thank you for contacting Fiskars. Wipe your blade down with a dry soft cotton cloth (t-shirt material). If it is still dirty, use a lightly damp cloth. Use any mild cleaner (mild soap, spray, isopropyl alcohol, etc.), if necessary. If the blade has glue or other sticky substances, we recommend using Goo Gone.
why can't fiskar be bothered to post the blade length-which is the most important info needed to determine size suitability?an entire page of pr and glaringly missing the one real piece of info actually valuable. so how long are the blades ?
It is in the Specifications. 1.5". I use them for sewing/quilting.

What is the maximum diameter for stems and limbs to be cut
I don't know an exact diameter but I use these only on my small rose bush branches when I'm trimming it. I hope that helps. They are a great tool to have.
it cuts thick stems

Do not cut limbs with this. Suitable only for cutting flowers or small plants.
