Questions & Answers
Will this cut through glued pressed wood with a carbine blade?
Yes, the M18™ HACKZALL® Recip Saw (2625-20) is designed to cut wood, and glued pressed wood products such as particleboard, MDF, or similar engineered wood can be cut when using the appropriate wood-cutting blade.
Is the shoe made of plastics?
No — the M18 6-1/2" Circular Saw (Tool-Only) has a magnesium shoe, not plastic. Magnesium provides strength and durability while keeping the tool lightweight.
Does it come with a blade?
Yes — the M18 6-1/2" Circular Saw (Tool-Only) does include one 6-1/2" Milwaukee blade in the box.
If there is one, I can't find it.
What is the difference from brushless to brushed
Hi Homer! Brushless motors use electronics instead of carbon brushes, making them more efficient, powerful, and longer-lasting with less maintenance. Brushed motors are cheaper but create more friction, require more maintenance, and have shorter lifespans.

What size battery to run this saw
Hey, Winston. The M18 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw will run on any M18 battery, but for best results use XC5.0 or FORGE 6.0/8.0.
What kind of blade is included? That would be helpful to include. Can you give more details than “wood cutting blade”? What is the name of the blade standalone? Trying to determine if it can cut trim.
