Hello - There is no stop - it is a reamer - not a drill bit so as you ream - you will be able to see the progress and stop reaming once the glued pipe has been reamed it hits the flange of the fitting.
Will this bit work on 1 1/2” schedule 80 pipe
Because the OD of schedule 35-80 does not change only ID the tool should still work.
Will the 3" reamer cut out a 3" glued in fitting from a 4" PVC pipe?

Hello, the product is designed to ream 1-1/2" Sch 40 pipe in the tee. The diameter of the unit is 1-7/8" - the cutting section diameter is approximately. 1-5/8" and the hex rod is 3/8"; length of the unit is 3-1/4". Thanks.

Hello, this is designed to ream solvent welded pipe from the fitting/socket.
The images and description say 3", and it's shown being used on DWV pipe; but the specifications state that it's for ½" pipe. Which is it?
