Part of the NXT accessory swap & lock attachment system - an upgraded ecosystem of customizable wet dry vac accessory tools with swappable shoes, this shop vac floor tool lets you clean shop floors, jobsites, garages, and basements. The Max floor tool adapts to your needs, changing debris pickup and where you can clean based on the type of shoe attached to it. The floor tool has an upgraded rocking design, allowing for pickup of larger debris such as sawdust, rocks, and gravel, over a wide surface area for more efficiency. To use NXT shoes, place the front of one shoe at a 45-degree angle against the floor tool and snap in place. For removing tough debris on rough surfaces like subfloors and textured surfaces, use the NXT hard bristle shoe (SK1501) and for delicately cleaning finished surfaces like tile, wood, and carpets, use the NXT soft bristle shoe (SK1502). For wet messes on flat surfaces, use the NXT wet squeegee shoe (SK1503) that allows you to push or pull water to clean. What took rigid so long to figure this out?! I hate that rigid vacuum all of the tools fall off and i have sooo many adaptors. Now i have to buy these separately for each attachment?
Can you use this with any 2 1/2 inch vac tubing or must it have the locking mechanism on the end of a rigid tube?
