Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom Spray and Grow

I was excited to give this kit a try. We are mushroom lovers and eat them almost daily. I kept the kit stored in a dim, cool, low humidity area until I was ready to go ahead with the growing. Wanted to be home and available to tend to them. I saw the box regularly as it was stored in a room I was in each day. Much to my surprise, I came in one day and they had already done their thing and were growing out of the box! I checked the "best by" date and I'm well within that. I was looking forward to giving this a try. Not sure where I went wrong. It looks like a lovely kit.

OMG, this is the best mushroom kit I’ve ever used. And the only one I’ve ever used that has actually produced harvestable mushrooms! I do not have a green thumb at all. In fact, my husband makes fun of me and says I have a black thumb lol. But I guess a black thumb is helpful when growing fungi- either that, or this kit is completely fool proof. I have already had my first harvest, and I’m growing my second harvest currently. I followed the instructions exactly as they are printed in the material and lo and behold, I am growing edible lions mane mushrooms on my kitchen counter! I would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone, and will be purchasing the other kits myself as well.

So I was lucky enough to get this Lion's Mane grow kit. I was kind of nervous whether it would work. I watched the instructional videos on their North Spore website and read all the directions. They provide a water spritzer and it's a nice one because it is just the right small size to do a watering. If you used the large ones we usually have in our house you might tend to overwater. With the small bottle it only takes seconds. Instructions say water straight out of the tap is fine. In 2.5 weeks I had enough plant to harvest for this review. I sauted them with some oil, butter and seasoning and enjoyed the first Lion's Mane mushrooms of my life. I'll say it was delicious. Wife liked it, also. It's easy and it's fun. There's an emphasis on growing in a damp area. I just had it on a side table in my living room. What a great gift this would be for someone serious about cooking.

While I dont know yet how the growth and yeild is going to be I have suggestions for the manufacturer to make the use of their product more user friendly. When I received the product the first thing for me was to open the box intuitively and see what is in there. Big mistake as I later after reading the instructions and watching their videos realized I needed to leave it in the box to make the cuts on the plastic after cutting the box perforated window. Now I dont know which way it needs to go in as part of the content is moldy white while the other side is darker. Per videos I guessed that the darker side should be cut and watered. Will see how it grows!!! But a simple instruction on the box could have prevented all this mess and mixup

I’m currently in the early growth phase with the North Spore Grow Your Own Lion’s Mane mushroom kit, and so far, the experience has been very positive, especially from an ease-of-use standpoint. This is my first time growing mushrooms at home, and the kit has made the process feel approachable rather than intimidating. Setup was extremely simple. Everything arrived well packaged, clean, and ready to go, with clear instructions that didn’t assume prior experience. Within minutes of opening the box, the kit was in place and ready for daily care. There’s nothing complicated about the routine so far. A light misting and basic attention to humidity have been all that’s required, which fits easily into a normal day. One thing I really appreciate is how clean and unobtrusive the kit has been indoors. There has been no noticeable odor at all, which was something I was mildly concerned about before starting. Even as the mycelium continues to develop, it hasn’t produced any smells or mess, making it perfectly comfortable to keep in a living space. Although I haven’t reached full flush yet, the kit has already shown visible signs of progress. I picked this up on a whim and have been super happy with it. I’ve got everything else in my garden - why not try mushrooms? Everything you need is included in the box, and the instructions are pretty simple. I put this in a bathroom (for humidity) with a north-facing window for indirect sunlight. I got my first harvest of lion’s mane in less than two weeks. Trying for round number two now. So cool!

Got this Mushroom Kit for my wife as she loves mushrooms! This kit is apparently as easy as it gets! From the instructions you cut out the front panel of the box, put a hole in the enclosed brick of spores, use the enclosed spray bottle to moisturize the spores and just wait! There are notifications that the packages of spores will need to be started shortly after arriving. There is a note that if you can not for some reason get them started you must do so within 90 days. Once the are watered the box should be placed in a humid area away from sunlight. The Mushrooms should sprout quickly and should be available to be enjoyed in short order.

Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom Spray and Grow I received organic lion’s mane mushroom spray and grow three days ago. I looked forward to try it. It was white lion’s mane mushroom. It was my first time to experience growing mushroom right at my home. It stated that the organic countertop kit making to grow my own mushrooms so easy. It was just to open the front of the box and cut an X on the plastic bag, then to spray water 2 - 3 times a day and watch them grow right in my home in the sunroom. Really cool. Now wait and see how it goes. Still early to finalize it completely within 3 days. It was easy step by step.
