      A:  It’s the same thickness as any common 5 gallon bucket. I use these all the time and they are amazing and hold up so well. Never have to worry About it breaking or anything. And for your question about the metal handle… what ever bucket you buy, the handle that it comes with is same as every other one. This snap lid doesn’t have a metal handle.
