That creature isn't coming back this season, but we will some fantastic figures for 2019. Perhaps our Headless Horseman, our Towering Jack O'Man or our Gatekeeper?

Sadly there isn't. Although it does require you to run the motor so the pulley is positioned to the lowest position and cut power. You will also need to remove one side of the head spring to make it easier to connect without fighting it, then reconnect when done. The rope will be attached to the rear eyelet of the pulley then wound 1 3/4 turns clockwise to the inside of the pulley then through the upper rope guide and tied to the upper shaft end snugly. The rope to the lower part of the shaft is tied to the front pulley eyelet and then wrapped straight down counter clockwise through the bottom rope guide and then to the lower shaft end. It is always best not to remove the pulley. As a rule the eyelets on the pulley should be on top when in the lowered position. You will also need some slack on the ropes that you can fine tune to insure that the head and arms are fully extended in the upper position and it can fully lower without binding and setting off the anti strip clutch gear. The gear position limit switches on the back of the gear box should get activated at each extreme for proper operation. Keep in mind that ropes can stretch and shrink and the pulley shaft can also have play due to weight on it, that will result in tolerance changes over time.
Hshshhehff
It's normal for this crummy piece of garbage decoration.
We had this issue straight out of the box! If you find an answer on how to hack it to make it work, let me know! For now, we took the string off and just let him talk and glow. :-/ Cheap crap
I had the same issue. You will need to watch it closely under the cloth and see what is getting caught preventing it from rising.
The sensor may be more sensitive than planned for. We can also try shipping you a new sensor. Please contact Home Depot Customer Service.
