It's obvious that the top beam is not a 4x4 as it is visibly a rectangle. What is the opening size for that.

What angle should the bottom of the legs be cut to set square on the ground?
          ByMay 4, 2024

          Answer This Question

You won't need to cut the legs, the wood will be on an angle, so the bottom will lay flat on ground once put together correctly.

What is the weight limit for the 4x6 cross beam?

            Answer This Question

The A-frame brackets have a weight limit of 7440 lbs. We are unsure of the weight limit of the wooden beam itself but that information should be available where you purchase the wood.

These brackets are excellent! They're strong enough to save the need for a cross beam halfway down the a-frame. A good deal of sanding was necessary on one end of the 4x6 top beam, but we eventually got it on.

Worked great. Quick and easy swing set.

Bracket is good, but hardware is not great. Some of the lag bolts snapped while hand ratcheting into PT wood. I ended up buying hardware separately.

                Great swing set
Perfect. Tough to find the proper wood for the center beam but worked great. The bags holding the screws and washer inside the boxes ripped but found most Of the parts scattered in the box

Brace is good, lumber is scarce
Very sturdy, easy to use, but before buying this I would recommend confirming that you are able to source the 4x6 lumber that is used for the cross beam in this brace. None of the building supply places in my area stocked 4x6x8 lumber, so I had to go to a mill to get one made. The alternative would be to us 2 2x6 planks with a 1/2" piece of plywood between or similar, but I prefer solid wood.
