    A:  I did not make rice. I made pasta that cooked for one setting. The cooker alarm went off and my pasta was done.

        A:  Generally white rice takes around 10 minutes per uncooked cup of rice to cook in both cool touch and Pot Style rice Cookers. Brown rice will take around 20 minutes per uncooked cup of rice to cook in Pot Style Rice Cookers and 2 hours to cook in Cool Touch Rice Cookers due to the extra bran layers on the grain.             If you're looking for a tiny Rice Cooker-this is it. Quite adorable in size-counter saver in fact. Does a decent job in cooking but it is very small. It says only 1.5 cup capacity of rice with water it doubles. Yes it does but since it is on the smaller size you can't prevent the rice from sticking or burning because there really isn't enough room in it to stir without making a mess. Made rice pudding and mac and cheese in it. Found it to be extremely tedious. This isn't a set it and forget it-found myself tending to it so much that I could have made it on the stove-at least I would have had stirring space. Truly didn't realize how small this is when I bought it. I would say perfect for a single person with no more than 1/2 cup of rice or pasta to really enjoy it and use it properly. I did find it really easy to clean-super plus for me but I don't think I'll be using it very often-maybe for just a quick side dish like pasta or rice. That's about it for me.

            I love rice!! Even bad rice is a good veggie for me, but, this little cooker upper will probably end up being a gift for someone who CAN STILL ENJOY perfect rice!!! I did not realize the powers that be, AKA Sweetie Pie was going to change our eating habits after 48 years of marriage!!! So, I have to decide if PERFECTLY COOKED RICE is more important than "Happy wife, happy life!!". Well, that plus she does all the cooking!!!! THEN!!! I opened the box and found the recipes of some of the stuff you can make besides rice in this rice cooker!!!! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!! Keto, you ain't stopping me yet!!!

            Love it, makes perfect rice for 1 or 2 people. Easy to use and my little1 says the spoon and cup are cute. Had to make a few pots to get the rice the way I want it. 1 thing bad about it is if you use a tick to much water it will boil out. I bought this to use with my Jackery 550.

            I'm sorry I have to rate this rice cooker as poor. It did not work. It wouldn't turn on. I'm assuming this is a defective unit, and a Aroma rice cooker you order will work. It looks nice. It's very compact. I wondered if the latches to keep the lid in place were sturdy enough. They seemed to be and weren't very difficult to use. I can't give you any information on how well it cooks rice.
