A:  It shows the swings in the last 24 hours and continuously updates and displays constantly. We have several of them throughout 5 buildings and also on each level of my tri level home. Great product for the money.

A:  It indicates daily high/low readings, so 24 hours.

            by|Oct 16, 2021

A:  It doesnt record. It just indicates current conditions.

              by|Mar 31, 2021

A:  It does display the highest and lowest temperature and humidity readings over the previous 24-36 hours.

A:  It only displays immediate information. I do not believe there is a way to extract information out of the device.

              by|Aug 19, 2020

A:  Hello, High and low readings are captured from three 12 hour blocks of time, starting at the time batteries are installed. At the end of each 12 hour block of time the product examines highs and lows from the past three 12 hour blocks of time (or 36 hours) and displays the highest and lowest readings. The high and low records displayed are always taken from within a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 36 hours. Answer This Question

A:  The unit has a prop leg and is designed to sit on a surface. It could probably be mounted on a wall if a loop or hanging string were added. See unit back photo in this response.

                  by|Jul 27, 2020

A:  Hello, This unit features a magnet so that it may be attached to a metal surface. It does not feature an integrated hang hole for wall mounting. A:  Yes it has a clip of hanging on paper, string, wire, etc. Plus the back of it has a magnetic strip.

                    by|Aug 19, 2020

A:  While it’s not made to put on a wall, it could certainly be stuck there with adhesive as it’s light.

                      by|Jul 30, 2020

A:  No. But it has a magnet which you can stick on the fridge. It has a clipper which can use to stand on itself.

Indicator of high/low humidity is 100% incorrect
Overall, this is okay for the price. One thing that is disappointing is that the high/low humidity indicator is wrong at all times. When the humidity is low it says it is high, as can be seen in the provided photo.

The Home Comfort Level icon is based on both the humidity and temperature readings. The Home Comfort Level Icon will indicate "OK" when the Humidity is between 30%-55% and the Temperature is also between 68-76 degrees Fahrenheit. "Low" will display when either the Humidity or Temperature is below the "OK" comfort zone range. "High" will display when either the Humidity or Temperature is above the "OK" comfort zone range.

                          Not sure about these units
I've been an AcuRite customer for years but when I set my 4 new units next to my 4 older units there is wide inconsistency. Will send a photo . Temp comparison is decent but humidity varies a lot (15 - 17%) depending on time of day.

Looking at your photo, your units are reading within our accuracy standards of +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit and +/- 5% humidity. Your units do appear to be reading accurately. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I like the two I have. They are entertaining. I have two more of a different model. All 4 are scattered throughout a 3100 square foot house. All register same or close to the same reading when placed side by side. When scattered across the house I see the humidity varies from room to room. Greatest in rooms with humidifier , least in 300 square foot sun room where sun shines in and temperature is elevated. All 4 are Acu rite brand , the same as my outdoor weather station. Price is extremely reasonable, try one you too can be entertained.

Model 00613 displays humidity readings ~ 7% lower than the Model 01083M, which compared nicely with other manufacturers' humidity readers.

First, please make sure that you are using standard alkaline batteries from a high-quality brand in both units. Remove the batteries for a full two minutes to allow the units to power down completely before replacing batteries. Please allow at least 20 minutes for the units to adjust to their surroundings before comparing readings. Here is a link to our Accuracy Standards: https://support.acurite.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007659854-What-are-the-Accuracy-Standards- If your units are reading within these standards then we would consider them accurate.
I would not purchase again (:
It's not AcuRite? 4 degrees is unacceptable.

I bought this after installing an Ecobee 4 smart thermostat to add a comparison of the indoor humidity level. Both devices display different values so I do not know which is is more accurate. The AcuRite reflects a lower humidity, however, it does confirm the level is higher than normal. This is a cheap indoor temperature and humidity monitor and it displays large numbers.

The numbers are a nice size and easy to understand. The kick stand keeps it stable on the table and I can mover it anywhere in the house, or take it with me where ever I go.
