Great storage
They look & work great. I bought two of the Adeptus 8-drawer (six over two) storage units & assembled them both by myself in one afternoon. Delivery was fast & ahead of schedule. The instructions were clear & easy to follow. The design is simple but effective. I am using them as mostly stationary storage in a walk-in but they roll around on their casters without any problem. I'm storing the heaviest items in the bottom drawers for stability & a lower center of gravity. I’d buy them again.

Buyer beware! The ONLY reason i purchased this despite some of the negative reviews is that this is the only drawer unit i could find with these dimensions that would fit in a tight space next to a built in dresser in my closet. I would not recommend this if you have other options. The wood is too soft and cracked and chipped off in several places, there are no holes on the drawer front edges when screwing the drawer sides on (you have to make sure you align it perfectly on your own), the backing on the unit and bottoms of drawers were next to impossible to nail on and several nails bent or went through the wood.
It looks nice enough after struggling for hours to put it together and it is less white washed looking than shows in the product listing. I give it 3 stars for the dimensions and the overall look once put together. Im afraid it isnt going to hold up due to the soft wood and other issues.

It was a little daunting to get this package and to realize I would need to build it. I’m 65 and disabled. But, after one day of following directions I had it together and it’s so sturdy! It looks great and will last a long time I’m sure.

I had high hopes for this :( I was looking for something to match furniture I already have.
Style wise, this fits, dimensions are perfect, unfortunately it is so poorly manufactured, I will be returning it.
During assembly one of the drawer fronts cracked and one of the drawer sides split in half. Once it was together, there is so much play in the drawers side to side that nothing sets straight and there are no drawer stops! I should have known for the price.

Well, the price is absolutely right. So much to like about this gem--very nice wood, very nice finish, smart design. Plus, sustainable wood harvesting from Brazil! (If we can believe the packing material.)
The directions say it takes 35 minutes to assemble. Make that 3 hours and 35 minutes, particularly because they say not to use power tools to screw in screws, there are scores of screws, and many of them are so cheap the heads will strip easily. My guess is that was a marketing decision to keep the price below $100. But everyone has time on their hands right now, so if you are looking for a stylish file cabinet of this size, this is the one for you.
