The system is covered by a 12 month equipment warranty

Does this thing run continuously? How many watts does it consume?

Asked by Wedgies August 11, 2020

The system is designed to run continuous to maintain an aerobic environment inside the tank. The unit is rated at 100 watts of power (0.75 Amp)

How noisy is this, and far or close to the house should it be located?

Asked by Frank January 29, 2020

The units are rated for 39dB @ 15'. They have 6′ power cords and should be placed on the ground near a 120 volt power outlet. There is 20' of airline included with each kit; airline extension kits are available as well.

will this improve the efficiency of an ATU septic for increased effluent spray-field discharge?

Asked by lgoTX December 13, 2019

Adding an additional aerator to your current system would likely provide minimal benefits. It's recommend to follow the manufacturers guidelines of operation to ensure the current system is operating in the design parameters. Modifying the setup may cause unintended issues.

To restore a clogged dry well would it have to placed directly into the dry well? Or, can it be p...

Asked by GE March 26, 2019

Typically in a drywell/seepage pit setup we prefer to have the aeration installed directly into drywell/seepage pit. However, if the drywell is not accessible then the system can be installed directly into the septic tank as well.

Asked by Adam November 7, 2018

Hi Adam, The S3-100 model is covered by 12 month equipment warranty in the event the Aero-Stream product fails to operate properly under normal conditions because of a defect in materials or workmanship. Aero-Stream, LLC (877)-254-7093

Would the Aero-Stream Septic System Saver work on a system that was built in the 1960's? Our sys...

Asked by ConcreteTank October 24, 2018

The Septic System Saver is designed as a retro-fit kit for any below ground discharge septic. The install requires a 5/8" hole to be drilled through either the top of the tank or lid. It's simply a matter of lowering a couple components down into the tank & running the remaining airline back out of the tank to the Septic System Saver unit. Please see the installation guide listed under "Info & Guides" for reference. Let us know if you have any other questions regarding your septic situation. We can always be reached at (877)-254-7093 Aero-Stream, LLC (877)254-7093

Which tank does this actually get put into?

Asked by Carmen October 16, 2018

Hi Carmen, The placement of the system will depend on the number of tanks in your setup, tank size, and type of effluent distribution (pressurized vs. gravity). If you have any questions regarding your septic situation feel free to give us a call anytime at (877)-254-7093 Aero-Stream, LLC (877)254-7093

It's really too early to know if adding the Aero-Stream to our septic system will make a difference. Pl ease note that the Aero-Stream generates white noise - we added a timer (running throughout the night) so we didn't have to hear it running when we are outside within hearing distance.

Hi Chris-

The equipment needs to run continuous to maintain the aerobic environment inside the tank. Frequently switching between an aerobic and anaerobic environment puts a tremendous amount of stress on the septic system. We don't recommend running the system on a timer.

Just installed so too soon to rate its effectiveness. Installation was not difficult. The motor was much noisier than expected, but part of that was due to vibration of the bottom plate. After tightening two screws, the vibration stopped, but the motor noise can still be heard indoors.

Hi TJ,

Thanks for the feedback. The system is rated at 39 dB at 15’. It’s best to locate the enclosure on a slightly elevated flat level surface such as a patio block. Did you notice any damaged to unit and/or packaging upon delivery. The product is covered with an equipment warranty so please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you’d like to troubleshoot your situation so we can work to get this resolved. We can be reached anytime at (877)-254-7093.
