The All Pro APC 25-Watt White Integrated LED Exit Sign in Red Letters is a great all in one emergency exit sign. The unit is made of hard plastic for long lasting durability and I can only hope that long lasting nickel cadmium batteries are just that, long lasting!
This seems to be one of those items that you never really pay attention to until you need it in an emergency!
It was installed by a licensed electrician so I cannot speak personally about the ease and/or difficulty of installation although I do know that the 2 LED emergency lights needed to be clicked in place but that was easy enough.
This unit is installed in a pediatric physical therapy clinic making the importance of this particular exit sign all that much more so! If something were to happen, we want to make sure that the kiddos, some of whom are developmentally challenged, know where to go! This exit sign is a big deal in this clinic and it's location and importance are not unrecognized!

This is the kind of thing you would buy like an insurance policy. You hope you never have to use it but when you do, you want a quality return for your investment. This is a great little unit. The led emergency lights work very nicely. Installation was a breeze. The only challenge I had was getting the shell opened so I could mount the back plate. It is plastic and you need to slide a flathead screwdriver in the slots to open it up. I was nervous doing this but it worked out fine.
