In a Five Star rating, Aquasana gets a Six
We live in an area with highly contaminated water and previously used a distiller. Our Aquasana actually did one better. It removed everything the distiller did and left only a very small amount of healthy minerals. Our pets (parrots), drink what we drink because we care about them. Our Powered Water Filtration System is fast and convenient. Couldn't imagine giving them or us anything less!

Works like a charm
I'm in New York City where the water has always tasted fine, but I live in an old house, so who knows about the pipes. When I change out the filter the old one is always much darker than the new one. I take that to mean it's doing its job.

I had the counter top model for over 7 years...
I had the counter top model for over 7 years and it still works well and the filters last for at least 6 months. I use the water filtration unit at least 3 times a day. It is wonderful.

Buy like new but is old
I bought twice this filter and the second time the red light doesnt come out and the filter come with little green dots outside after a week or so I feel the tasting was really bad I don't know if Home Depot recycle those filters or if they buy from a second hands, but I don't think buy it again from here.
