Steve-no. 90-degree is a perfect vertical line. These are used to connect the rails to wooden posts or a house.

Cary--this wall mount is designed to only accept straight rails.
Each railing section requires 4 wall mounts(two top mounts and two bottom mounts). Do you get 4 wall mounts or two for this price?
Hey Daniel! Thank you for the inquiry. Straight wall mounts are not required to install Aria Railing between two Aria Railing posts. Each Aria Railing panel comes with a deck panel installation kit. However, if you do want to use straight wall mount attachments for 1 panel between two 6x6 wood posts, you can purchase two of them, which will give you a total of four pieces.
